HALO™ Hybrid Fractional Laser

HALO is the first and only hybrid fractional laser. This means that two wavelengths operate simultaneously to repair and rejuvenate different layers of your skin. One wavelength targets the top layer of the skin to correct surface concerns while the other works within the deeper layers of your skin.

Fractional lasers stimulate the production of collagen within your skin. This vital substance is responsible for elasticity and firmness. Even after the treatment, your skin will continue to rejuvenate itself as a result of the new collagen.

You’re a good candidate for this treatment if you’d like to improve the appearance of sun damage, visible skin aging, discoloration, enlarged pores, fine lines, uneven skin texture, uneven skin tone, and scars. This treatment can be customized to meet your unique skin goals. You can choose what areas you wish to treat, as well as the frequency and intensity of your sessions. The treatment can be completed in a relatively short amount of time in the comfort of our facility. A topical ointment will be applied to your skin thirty minutes to an hour before your treatment, to reduce the sensation during treatment. Most patients experience little to no discomfort; however, it is normal to feel some heat or experience a slight pinching sensation. A member of our expert staff will gently roll the HALO device across your skin until the area has been fully treated.

Most patients see results after several days, while the greatest improvements are visible after two to three weeks. Your skin will continue to experience improved regeneration for several months. The results of your HALO treatment can last for years, especially if you protect your skin from any further sun damage. You may pursue follow up treatments, as they will only improve the vibrancy and clarity of your skin.

Our staff will give you instructions to follow after your session. This will include avoiding sun exposure to protect your newly rejuvenated skin. There is minimal downtime after this treatment, though you may want to refrain from social activities for a day or two. Your skin may appear red after treatment and it will begin to peel after 24 hours. This peeling process removes the dead skin cells and reveals the younger, smoother skin below. You can wear makeup after 24 hours.
